Over 1000 events will take place during Climate Week NYC next week, with record government engagement and strong corporate support showing continued momentum for global climate action.

New York City, September 18 2025 – This year’s Climate Week NYC will be the biggest yet in its 16-year history, with a record-breaking number of events, unprecedented levels of government participation, and the largest lineup of corporate partners to date.

Taking place from September 21-28 and hosted by Climate Group, Climate Week NYC will see over 1000 official events registered across town, compared to last year’s 900. They are organized by hundreds of organizations, businesses and governments, making it the most significant international climate gathering outside of COP.

The event comes at a critical moment for global climate action and signifies the determination of many governments, businesses and civil society to Power On, with over 100,000 people expected to join in person and thousands joining online.

Highlights for 2025 include:

• AY's Road to 1000 powered by Battery Tour: AY Young, UN Young Leader for the SDGs, will perform live in Times Square alongside special guests Andrew James and Mimi Nichole in a clean-energy powered concert kicking off New York Climate Week Saturday September 20.
• Formula-E Race Car: Fortescue’s high-performance battery and charging technology will be on show throughout the week as part of its Real Zero project to decarbonize heavy industry environments.
• Climate Film Festival: Join New York City's premiere event dedicated to visionary climate storytelling, returning for its second year. September 19-22.
• Major announcements by businesses, governments and civil society organizations to continue momentum for global climate action.
