In our discussion with Hydro-Québec’s Chief Operating Officer, Serge Abergel, we touched on the impact the company’s new development will have on local communities along its 375 mile long infrastructure project. The support of local communities is at the heart of building significant infrastructure projects like the Champlain Hudson Power Express. Hydro-Québec has done this through working with local indigenous communities in Canada through to underprivileged communities in Queens, New York, to ensure the benefits of renewable energy projects are shared amongst those most affected.
